Leslie has worked in watercolors and portrait painting for 20 years. A move to Loudoun County, Virginia drew her back to her equestrian roots and she has become passionately involved in equestrian portraits. The dynamic, powerful movement of horse and rider provides a unique challenge in watercolor. However, Leslie handles this challenge with skill and imagination. She uses the fluid movement of the watercolors on paper to help depict the dynamic partnership of horse and rider.

She paints exclusively from photos and will work closely with you to produce a work of fine art. She can use your photo or one that has been professionally taken, provided the photographer has given permission. Leslie will customize your painting to include other pets, a different background, or more than one pose of the subject.
